Indian Summer. Most gorgeous day. Frost first thing then melting to divine late sumner early Autumn day. Birds tweeting river bubbling. Went out jauntily in peacock jeans to inspect peafowl and see the machinations of our little orange digger in paddock. Dogs came out joyously and we rushed down en trois past the orchard to inspect. in a few seconds they were gone. Another loss I drove to Torquay and spent delightful day at Bmw Oceann Torbay getting on with chores as they have fast internet…left at 4 having organised a paddleboarding session 5.30 with Crispin. Of Waterborne. Long haired and a trifle plump. Crabshel. it’s heaven_ sunset, swans, low light as we paddled and ducking go under Bowcone bridge arches. Such a beautiful estuary at such a time of day
